One of the essential elements of AVINENT’s Dentistry 4.0 and of its comprehensive digital solution is its range of next-generation materials. AVINENT recently reached an agreement with Dental Direkt, giving it exclusive rights to distribute the German company’s products in Spain, increasing the solutions the firm is able to offer and their quality.
The partnership between the two companies will mean that AVINENT clients in Spain will have access to new and updated zirconia solutions (milled or discs) noted for their outstanding esthetic qualities. In particular, the company will be promoting DD cubeX², which combines the famed properties of zirconia with a significant improvement in translucence, which till now was only a feature of lithium disilicate products. This material is especially suited to highly esthetic treatments in the anterior and posterior zone.
According to Uwe Greitens, CTO (Chief Technology Officer) at Dental Direkt, “working in partnership with AVINENT enables us to transfer our knowledge to Spain through a robust structure and a commercial operation that offers outstanding guarantees.” The CTO of the German company adds that “the fact that AVINENT is providing a complete digital solution is a great opportunity, since it offers us the possibility of reaching an even larger audience.”
As well as DD cubeX², AVINENT will be making available to clients the entire range of DD materials, ceramics, and coloring liquids required to precisely treat structures and achieve homogeneous results. Even though AVINENT will not be marketing these products in the usual manner for a few months, the company already has some items, such as DD Bio Z, ceramics and the previously mentioned DD cubeX².
New DD cubeX²ML
In addition to its DD cubeX² system, Dental Direkt launched onto the market this summer its new and highly efficient DD cubeX²®ML, a multilayer cubic zirconia system with a flowing color gradation. Its chromatic scale and the increased translucence of the incisal third meet the highest demands of modern CAD materials.
AVINENT will also be arranging a series of training sessions in clinics and laboratories across Spain. These training events – dates and venues are still to be confirmed – will help to familiarize users with the new Dental Direkt products and the benefits they offer for patient outcomes. DD cubeX²®ML will be made available to the public once these sessions begin.
