IDS 2019
The AVINENT universe will be present at the International Dental Show, the most important international fair in the dental industry, with a stand of over 200m2 and a product portfolio that for the first time breathes AVINENT from the oceans to the most remote galaxies. For the past ten years, Avinent has been developing comprehensive solutions and products for laboratories in its AVINENT CAD-CAM division.With this consolidation, AVINENT CAD-CAM is now a Global Technology Partner for clinics and prosthetic laboratories worldwide. This amazing new concept, that will be showcased during IDS, will be accompanied by the launch of new products to complement and enrich the corporation’s existing solutions.
The first of these is the Pearl mini-implant Prosthetic System: this ground breaking prosthetic solution is a new addition to AVINENT’s family of removable and minimally invasive dental prosthetics. If we were already amazed at the effectiveness of the two-piece implant, now PEARL can be used for single restorations of both front and side teeth, with impressive aesthetic results. The scanning abutments, the titanium bases and the pre-milled crowns will have their debut in IDS 2019, and will be available immediately after the official presentation.
The launch of the comprehensive angulation correction system using titanium bases, designed for personalised anterior and posterior rehabilitations, has been tested to maximise soft tissue preservation while achieving perfect emergence profiles. AVINENT has designed this product with two rotation planes for divergences of between 20º and 30º.
AURORA Premium, a complete, top quality solution, will be the star of the show. The secret of its success lies in the design and manufacturing process. AVINENT uses 3D titanium printing for the base structure and its HSM milling system for the implant connections. Its manufacturing process gives it a rough surface that is ideal for composite retention. AURORA PREMIUM brings both patients and professionals a complete, fully effective solution that facilitates placement, integration and adaptation.
AVINENT also has another surprise in store with its Pre-mill production kit, created to speed up and maximise effectiveness for dental professionals. The kit contains everything needed for milling, and can produce up to eight titanium or CoCr units simultaneously. For easy use, it also incorporates a USB with milling strategies. This kit will only be available in international markets.
At the IDS, AVINENT CAD-CAM will be introducing new materials from its best partners, such as CUBE ONE ML from Dental Direkt, designed to facilitate flexible colour shading.
Digital equipment will also take centre stage at this year’s IDS. AVINENT has extended its range of state-of-the-art equipment with 3Shape, and will begin distributing the 3Shape TRIOS 3 Basic, a scanner for dental clinics looking to move into digital dentistry, and 3Shape E4, with twice the speed, precision and cameras than its predecessor.
Finally, IDS will be the setting for the pre-launch of the new OCEAN TL implant. At the show, AVINENT professionals will be on hand to explain some of the main features and benefits of this new implant. Although the official launch date has not been set, AVINENT will invite professionals interested in testing the product to form a Beta Tester group, which will be the first to evaluate the performance of this innovative implant system.
