AVINENT dazzles with technology and digitization at Expodental

AVINENT’s more than 400-m2 stand was inspired by a futuristic environment and a strategic meeting point for visitors who yearned to be pioneers of the technological transformation that the dental sector is experiencing and is set to change the working methods in years to come.

AVINENT generated great expectation and many professionals and clients visited stand 7C 05 to learn first-hand about the latest products from the company and its innovative digital workflow system. The firm has made available the latest technological advances in digital equipment, prostheses, implants, materials, etc., to clinics and laboratories, as well as the services and solutions of a continually evolving sector that is strongly committed to a digital future.

One product and technology that continues to be showcased at dental fairs and congresses is CAD/CAM technology. The market is continuing to assimilate various solutions that can help professionals conduct their work with more accurate, convenient and faster processes. This should lead to high quality final restorations that can help doctors to place their unquestioning trust in the treatment and patients to benefit fully from all this progress.

This is why an implant treatment must be accompanied by a high quality product to obtain a restoration that takes patients into account and is as comfortable as possible. Doctors therefore play a crucial role in this process. For its part, AVINENT is working to provide clinicians with increasingly more information about the most suitable CAD/CAM structures or solutions for implant treatments. Laboratories and clinics can only devise a perfect solution if they have the right information.

In line with this concept, AVINENT presented various new products at Expodental related to CAD/CAM systems that can help to complement the BIOMIMETIC implant system and offer clinics and laboratories advanced solutions focused on patients. One of these is the AURORA system, CAD/CAM structures manufactured via 3D printing with titanium. Their production method provides an ideal surface roughness for the retention of coating materials and their reduced rigidity helps make the structures feel more comfortable in the patient’s mouth. LUNAR anatomical crowns are another fantastic new product, 3D printed in CoCr with unbeatable finishes available on the natural tooth. AVINENT also presented the PEARL mini implant system, which features a unique two-piece design.

Another star of the show was undoubtedly digital equipment. The market continues to offer endless possibilities in terms of scanners, milling machines, 3D printers, etc., and AVINENT continues to focus its efforts on working as a filter for all those interested in making the leap to friendlier, more accessible and safer dentistry 4.0. This is why products such as 3Shape TRIOS MOVE, ROLAND DWX milling machines or FORMLABS printers were showcased together with AVINENT at the stand alongside the most advanced software, such as Dental System or HyperDent, among others. This year they were joined by one of the products that aroused most interest at Expodental: NextDent 5100 printer by 3DSystems, a printer that aims to create a 3D printing revolution in the dental sector. Although the printer is not yet available, AVINENT was already able to display it at its stand alongside its various available material and the advantages of acquiring a device with these characteristics could already be explained first-hand.
